Job Summary
Conduct thorough medical evaluations and provide treatment for patients, including minor surgical procedures like joint injections and wound debridement. Oversee certified medical staff and perform remote assessments via telemedicine while supporting case management calls. Available for after-hour visits and travel to various locations, ensuring compliance with state licensing and DEA requirements. Hold an active Louisiana and Texas license with no active investigations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Strong proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative work environment
- Must be able to adapt to work in varied environments and learn detailed procedures
- Proven ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions
- Commitment to maintaining all required CME's
- Can have no active investigations by the Texas Medical Board
- Requires an active DEA and DPS certificate with no restrictions on prescribing medications
- Holds a full and unrestricted license in Louisiana and Texas
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle training equipment and tools, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
