Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner sought to provide primary care to US Veterans at a VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Meridian, MS. Role involves examining patients, developing and implementing patient management plans, coordinating with the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), and discussing patient outcomes with the Medical Director. Responsibilities include documenting in VA VISTA/CPRS, completing clinical reminders to keep patients up to date, and ensuring high standards of care for a Veteran population. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and graduate of an accredited program for nurse practitioners (MSN required)
- Board-certified in family practice or internal medicine
- Certification by an applicable professional organization
- Current, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment
- Current BLS for providers from the American Heart Association (to be renewed annually)
- Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to pass federal background check
