Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant delivering evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions, with the opportunity to provide both in-person and virtual visits from the clinic. The role emphasizes holistic practice with clinical team support, vaccinations and preventive care, care coordination with other healthcare professionals, and routine clinic operations (inventory, opening/closing, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection). Requires Master’s degree in a NP/PA program, active APRN/PA license, current board certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA), and DOT within 30 days. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant studies program
- Active, unrestricted state APRN license or PA license
- Current national board certification (AANP or ANCC for NPs; NCCPA for PAs)
- DOT certification exam completed within 30 days of employment
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to pass a respirator FIT test
- Physical presence at assigned clinic
- Experience ordering/administering vaccines and injections (e.g., COVID-19, influenza) is preferred
- Ability to work in a clinic setting with in-person and virtual care capabilities
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health records (preferred)
