Job Summary
Deliver evidence-based primary and family care in a clinic-based MinuteClinic setting, providing in-person and virtual visits from the clinic to support quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions; conducting diagnostic testing and preventive care; coordinating care with other healthcare professionals; engaging patients in wellness services and chronic disease management; and handling essential clinic operations (inventory, openings/closings, follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection). Requires NP with an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program, current ANCC/AANP certification, and an active unrestricted state license. Familiarity with the EPIC EHR, ability to administer vaccines, DOT certification within 30 days, BLS, and respirator fit test capability are expected. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Active, unrestricted state APRN license (FNP)
- Current national board certification (AANP or ANCC)
- One year of NP experience preferred or qualified new graduates considered
- Ability to order/administer vaccines (COVID-19, influenza, TB testing, etc.)
- DOT certification exam completed within 30 days of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to pass a respirator FIT test
- Physical presence at assigned clinic required
- Bilingual proficiency may be required depending on market needs
