Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care to deliver comprehensive healthcare with a focus on HIV treatment, prevention, and gender-affirming care. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments and exams, developing care plans, diagnosing and managing illnesses, prescribing medications, educating patients and families, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, documenting medical records, and participating in quality improvement and audits. Located in Atlanta, GA with a collaborative, patient-centered approach.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
