Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner needed for in-person, full-time primary care/internal medicine practice in SE Houston/Sugar Land area. Responsibilities include comprehensive and problem-focused evaluations for adult patients, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, providing routine primary care and preventive services, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting labs/imaging, prescribing medications per Texas and federal regulations, educating patients and families, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary staff, and maintaining timely compliant EHR documentation. Strong emphasis on continuity of care, patient outcomes, and teamwork within an established outpatient setting; prior experience in adult primary care or outpatient practice is preferred. Location: SE Houston / Sugar Land area, Texas. Competitive compensation in the $140k–$220k range for full-time, in-person work with an established outpatient clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certification as AGNP, FNP, or other applicable NP certification
- Active DEA registration and prescriptive authority, or eligibility to obtain
