Job Summary

Manage a panel of patients for a full spectrum primary care clinic, addressing acute and chronic needs while providing counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention. Perform minor outpatient procedures and collaborate with physicians, specialists, and pharmacists to develop a high-functioning care team where every member works at the top of their license. Solve complex problems and answer patient questions through quality, personalized interactions. Provide after-hours care support via the on-call program and ensure all documentation is timely and accurate. Verify patient understanding of diagnoses and follow-up recommendations. Currently licensed in Washington with a master's degree and national certification is required, along with unrestricted prescriptive authority and Epic EMR proficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Washington by hire date
  • Completion of Nurse Practitioner program at the master's level
  • National certification from one of the following organizations: American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; American Nurses Credentialing Center
  • Unrestricted DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority
  • Ability to be credentialed under Medicare
  • 2+ years of experience
  • A special interest, experience, fellowship, or degree in primary care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care from American Heart Association (AHA), Red Cross, or Military Training Network (MTN)
  • Proficient in use of the EMR
  • Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • An interest in community outreach efforts (PR, ambassador to community partners, onboarding/mentoring for new teammates)
  • Vaccine Requirement: proof of or complete a written attestation of a religious or medical exemption for influenza and Hepatitis B vaccines
  • Ability to work in a clinical environment, interact with patients for prolonged periods, and perform duties requiring a high level of concentration and emotional resilience
