Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) in podiatry, blending clinical care with surgical first-assist duties. Manages a defined podiatry patient panel, performs office-based podiatric procedures (wound care, injections, post-operative follow-ups), assists podiatrists in the operating room for foot/ankle procedures, supports postoperative care, and collaborates with the podiatry team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a busy surgical outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Maine
- Experience or strong interest in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to team-based care
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
