Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider will first assist podiatry surgeons in the operating room across foot/ankle procedures, independently evaluate and manage podiatry patients, perform office-based podiatric procedures (e.g., wound care, injections, post-operative follow-ups), support post-operative care and recovery coordination, collaborate with podiatrists and care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes, and participate in quality, safety, and operational initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Maine
- Experience or strong interest in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to team-based care
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
