Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider role supporting podiatry surgeons in Rockport/Belfast, MAINE, with blended clinical and surgical first-assist duties. Responsibilities include first assisting in podiatric foot/ankle procedures and limb reconstruction, independently evaluating and managing podiatry patients, performing office-based podiatric procedures (wound care, injections, post-op follow-ups), coordinating postoperative care, collaborating with podiatrists and care teams, and contributing to quality, safety, and operational initiatives. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Maine
- Experience or strong interest in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to team-based care
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
