Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) supports surgical podiatry teams with a blended clinical and first-assist role. Manages a defined panel of podiatric patients, performs office-based podiatry procedures, assists podiatrists in the operating room for foot/ankle procedures and reconstruction, coordinates postoperative care, and collaborates with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Maine
- Experience or strong interest in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to team-based care
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
