Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to support MH Podiatry teams in Rockport and Belfast, Maine. Role includes surgical first-assist in the operating room for foot and ankle procedures, independent evaluation and management of podiatry patients, and office-based procedures (wound care, injections, post-operative follow-ups). Collaborate closely with podiatrists and the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes, participate in quality, safety, and operational initiatives, and assist with post-operative care and recovery coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Maine (or eligible for licensure)
- Experience or strong interest in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to team-based care
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
