Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) sought to support surgical podiatry in Rockport/Belfast, Maine, with blended clinical and surgical first-assist responsibilities, wound/injections, post-operative care, and collaboration with podiatrists and the care team. Role includes first-assist in the operating room for foot/ankle procedures, independent evaluation and management of podiatry patients, office-based podiatric procedures, and post-operative coordination within a high-volume surgical outpatient setting. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Maine
- Experience or strong interest in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to team-based care
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
