Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or similar) in MH Podiatry supporting Rockport and Belfast podiatry practices with a blended clinical and surgical first-assist role. Responsibilities include first assisting Podiatrists in the operating room for foot and ankle procedures, independently evaluating and managing podiatry patients, performing office-based procedures (wound care, injections, post-operative follow-ups), coordinating post-operative care, collaborating with the podiatry team to ensure high-quality outcomes, and contributing to quality, safety, and operational initiatives within the practice. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Maine
- Eligibility for licensure in Maine for NP/PA
- Experience or strong interest in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care preferred but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to team-based care
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
