Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP or FNP) to provide integrated medical and psychiatric care for individuals recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders in a structured inpatient treatment setting. Per-diem weekend availability. Collaborate with Medical Director and interdisciplinary team to support patient stabilization, recovery, and long-term wellness. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose and treat behavioral health conditions, prescribe and manage medications within approved protocols, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans. Maintain timely EMR documentation, ensure HIPAA and Joint Commission compliance, and participate in case reviews and treatment planning. Join a multidisciplinary clinical team dedicated to high-quality, compassionate care and recovery outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) license in Florida
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in addiction treatment or inpatient psychiatric care
- Experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health treatment team
