Job Summary

Conduct surgical consultations and respond to ED trauma alerts. Perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and assist in diagnosing and managing medical and surgical conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and ensure accurate documentation including discharge summaries. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality patient care while adhering to HIPAA and hospital policies. This full-time nocturnist role requires 80% standing/walking and 20% sitting time. Candidates must hold an accredited NP or PA license with Acute Care certification and at least three years of trauma surgery or critical care experience. EPIC EMR experience is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with Acute Care certification
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Arkansas Nurse Practitioner License
  • Physician Assistant License
  • CPR certification
  • National certification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in trauma surgery or critical care setting
