Job Summary
Provide high quality primary and palliative care to homebound patients in the Topeka, Kansas region. Assess patient health by performing physical examinations, obtaining medical histories, and developing treatment plans. Order diagnostic testing, prescribe medications, and consult with patients, families, and caregivers during visits. Effectively communicate with office staff and clinical operations across internal platforms. Board certified Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with valid Kansas certification are required, along with strong clinical skills and geriatric experience. Compensation is $100,000+ on a part-time, pay-per-visit basis with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified, with a valid NP or PA certification in the State of Kansas
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to accurately and confidently treat, assess, and diagnose
- Positive demeanor and strong people skills
- Ability to confidently problem solve and operate independently
- 1-2 years of primary care experience with geriatric patients
