Job Summary
Thoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) to join North Jersey Thoracic Surgical Associates within Atlantic Health. Support both inpatient and outpatient care at Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center, and satellite outpatient offices. Responsibilities include patient assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, assisting in surgical and post-operative care, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing patient education, collaboration with the care team, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records. Schedule features a 4-day work week with rotational weekends; new graduates welcome to apply. Location: Morristown, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Two years of experience preferred (adult and critical care populations)
- Ability to perform patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, assist in surgical and post-operative care, develop and implement treatment plans, provide patient education, collaborate with care team, maintain electronic medical records
