Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Diagnose, treat, and manage complex acute, critical, and chronic patients under physician supervision. Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Prescribe medications, administer immunizations, and perform procedures including suturing and wound management. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans while providing education on self-management and wellness. Document progress notes, evaluate procedure results, and facilitate patient transitions between health care settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to make referrals and support staff, patient, and family decision-making. Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines. Requires a Master's or Doctorate degree, an unrestricted New York license, and specific vascular experience.
