Job Summary
Manage comprehensive care for oncology patients receiving radiation therapy, focusing on symptom management, treatment-related toxicities, and follow-up care. Conduct assessments and provide interventions to support patient recovery within the Radiation Oncology team. Requires a graduate of a nursing or Physician Assistant program with five years of professional nursing experience, including one to two years in an advanced practice provider or oncology role. Full-time day hours Monday through Friday at three locations in Central New York. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of nursing
- Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program
- Licensed in NYS
- Authorized to Issue prescriptions pursuant to Section 6902 (3) (b) of the Education Law
- Five years professional nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
Desired Qualifications
- MS preferred
- 1-2 years in an advanced practice provider role
- 1-2 years in an Oncology Advanced Practice Provider role
