Job Summary
Provide mental health services in long-term care facilities as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, collaborating with MDs, PMHNPs, PAs, and psychotherapists. Work with a psychiatry-led team under supervision, with time flexibility to tailor patient care. Practice within family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine protocols, leveraging an integrated EHR, and coordinating with primary care for comprehensive mental health care. Requires a Masters in Nursing or PA degree and active licensure; geriatric/family/psychiatry specialization preferred. Full benefits and a high-end salary range are noted.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution and a current and valid license to practice medicine issued by the state in which you reside Medical Board
- OR
- Have graduated from a physician assistant educational program that is accredited by a National Commission on Accreditation of Allied Education Programs
- Have passed the national certification examination of the National Commission on Accreditation of Certification of Physician Assistants
- Licensed by the state in which you reside as a Physician Assistant
- Specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry desired
