Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Psych Med) in a psychiatric-mental health role focusing on adults in skilled nursing/assisted living facilities. Provide mental health services per site-specific protocols in family, geriatric, and/or internal medicine contexts for long-term care. Work with a psychiatric team (MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, PAs) with supervision from a psychiatrist, engage in collaborative care with psychotherapists and primary care providers, and participate in a multidisciplinary service team with a medical assistant partner. Emphasis on independent practice within a supervised framework, flexible scheduling, and extensive professional development opportunities (monthly case conferences, journal reviews, and ongoing training). Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited program and current state license OR PA program graduate licensed as Physician Assistant with national certification (PA-C)
