Job Summary
Provide mental health services in long-term care facilities as part of a psychiatric team, including collaboration with MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, and PAs. Work with supervision from a psychiatrist, benefiting from customized training and ongoing case conferences. Practice independently within site-specific protocols, with access to a psychotherapist for patients and an integrated EHR across services. Partner with a medical assistant to support scheduling, charting, and administrative duties; participate in a multidisciplinary, clinician-led organization focused on geriatric, family, and psychiatry care in a skilled nursing/assisted living setting. Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution and a current and valid license to practice medicine issued by the state in which you reside Medical Board
- PA educational program accredited by ACME/others
- National certification examination passed (e.g., NCAACPA)
- Licensed by the state as a Physician Assistant
- Specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry desired
