Job Summary
Provide mental health services in accordance with site-specific protocols for adults in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, within the scope of family/geriatric/internal medicine psychiatry. Work independently as part of a psychiatric team (MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, PAs) with supervision from a psychiatrist focused on collaboration and training. Participate in monthly educational activities, case conferences, and regular meetings; coordinate care with primary care providers and psychotherapists; collaborate with a medical assistant for scheduling and charting; operate within an integrated EHR; enjoy flexible scheduling and an innovative, growing healthcare organization.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and current valid license to practice medicine in the respective state issued by the Medical Board; or
- Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program; national certification from NCCPA; licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of residence;
- Specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry desired.
