Job Summary
Provide primary-care services in long-term care facilities (skilled nursing/assisted living) within family medicine, geriatric, and internal medicine scopes per site protocols; perform MAR reviews and sign orders, manage narcotic prescriptions, and handle lab results and administrative documentation; participate in on-call triage and follow established triage policies; ensure charting and billing per policy, and maintain HIPAA-compliant communications with facility staff; collaborate with facility care coordinators and adhere to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution and a current and valid license to practice medicine issued by the state in which you reside Medical Board
- OR
- Graduated from a physician assistant program accredited by the National Commission on Accreditation of Allied Education Programs
- National certification examination by NCCPA
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of residence
- Specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry desired
