Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Primary Care in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. Provide comprehensive primary care services, conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient education. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care, maintain accurate medical records, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies
- Current state licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Certification as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Experience in primary care, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or assisted living facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
