Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Primary Care ALF

Job Summary
Provide primary-care services in long-term care facilities (skilled nursing and assisted living) in accordance with site-specific protocols and standard care for family, geriatric, and/or internal medicine. Manage MARs and orders at facilities, sign orders, monitor labs within 24 hours, handle narcotic prescriptions per policy, and ensure timely documentation and billing. Maintain HIPAA compliance, communicate with facility staff, and adhere to regulatory guidelines. Requires Master’s-level nursing or PA credential and current state licensure with certification appropriate to practice in geriatrics/family medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing or PA degree from an accredited program
- Current and valid license to practice medicine issued by the state
- Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with appropriate certification
- National certification for PA (if PA path) and/or NP certification as applicable
- Specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry desired
