Job Summary
Provide primary-care services in long-term care facilities for adults within Eventus WholeHealth’s integrated care model. Responsibilities include reviewing MARs and facility orders, signing orders and lab results within required timeframes, managing narcotic prescriptions per policy, completing and submitting documentation and billing within policy timelines, maintaining open communication with facility staff and administrators, coordinating care and plans of care, adhering to HIPAA and regulatory standards, and consulting with the clinical supervisor when refusing resident requests. Qualifications include a Masters degree in Nursing or PA program and active licensure in the practicing state; specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry is desired.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution and a current and valid license to practice medicine issued by the state in which you reside Medical Board
- OR
- Have graduated from a physician assistant educational program that is accredited by a National Commission on Accreditation of Allied Education Programs
- Have passed the national certification examination of the National Commission on Accreditation of Certification of Physician Assistants
- Licensed by the state in which you reside as a Physician Assistant
- Specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry desired
