Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pre-Anesthesia Clinic

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Pre-Anesthesia Clinic as part of inpatient and ambulatory care teams. Responsibilities include conducting chart reviews, performing in-person and telehealth consults (potential emergency in-person consults), coordinating care with the Pre-Anesthesia Medical Director or Site Physician and Surgical Team, and ordering additional tests and medications as needed. Education paths: NP requires a Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited nursing program; PA requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s from an accredited PA program. Licenses: Wisconsin NP or PA licensure required, with NP: active RN and APRN certifications/licenses (prescriptive authority) and board certification in applicable NP specialty; PA: active PA license with prescriptive authority and PA board certification; both roles require active DEA license or the ability to obtain one prior to or upon hire.
