Job Summary
Conduct daily rounding, prescribe medications and treatment plans, and address acute or emergent issues for residents in skilled nursing facilities. Communicate with facility nursing staff via phone or secure messaging as needed while maintaining reliable on-site attendance for scheduled shifts. Ensure compliance with clinical standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements. This role offers 6-hour facility shifts with rounds starting between 7–10 a.m., freedom from on-call and overnight requirements, and flexible scheduling. The position utilizes an EHR with voice dictation and AI Scribe for efficient charting, along with access to UpToDate for clinical guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. license
- Board certification by ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN (for Nurse Practitioners)
- Board certification by NCCPA (for Physician Assistants)
