Job Summary
Perform client physicals, supervise nursing staff and dispensing operations, and manage medication storage and inventory. Conduct health histories at intake and annually, maintain accurate patient data, and coordinate care with primary care physicians regarding opiate or psycho-active medication prescriptions. Consult monthly with counselors and supervisors on individual patient medical needs, participate in case planning with the medical and project directors, and provide weekend coverage as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed in accordance with the laws in the State of employment
- Must maintain continuing education credits as required by the appropriate licensing board
- Must be CPR, First Aid, and BLS certified
- Weekend coverage as needed at the facility
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge in the field of drug abuse recommended
