Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to join an ambulatory pediatric primary care team. Responsibilities include managing a patient panel in partnership with primary care physicians, evaluating and treating acute and chronic pediatric conditions, promoting wellness, and counseling patients and families. The role operates in outpatient pediatric primary care, with a schedule of 80% FTE (four 8-hour days weekly, 8:00 am–5:00 pm).
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
- Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice (Wisconsin and other states as applicable)
- For NP: RN and APRN licenses and board certification in Pediatric Primary Care or Family Medicine
- For PA: PA license with prescriptive authority and PA board certification
- Master’s or Doctorate from accredited nursing program (NP) or Bachelor’s or Master’s from accredited PA program (PA)
- May require board certification in area of clinical practice (NP or PA)
- Eligibility/activation of licensure to practice in Wisconsin
- Active prescriptive authority where required
- DEA license or ability to obtain prior to or upon hire
