Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an outpatient orthopedic Foot & Ankle program with independent clinic scheduling. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and managing foot and ankle conditions in the outpatient setting, developing and implementing treatment plans with supervising physicians, administering injections and office-based treatments, triaging patient concerns, coordinating care with other providers, and participating in perioperative and hospital rounds as needed. Role involves collaboration with fellowship-trained foot & ankle specialists, a mix of independent practice and surgical exposure, built-in administrative time, and a path for growth and mentorship across North Phoenix and Mesa clinics, including call coverage and occasional after-hours/weekend patient contact.
Required Qualifications
- CPR and ACLS certification
- For Physician Assistants: Graduate of an AMA-accredited PA program
- Active or scheduled NCCPA certification
- BA/BS required; MS preferred
- For Nurse Practitioners: Current Arizona RN license
- Current Arizona APRN license
- National certification approved by Arizona APRN Board
