Job Summary
Conduct pre-transplant recipient evaluations, including pre-op assessments, donor questionnaires, and wait list management for non-renal solid organ transplants. Manage outpatient kidney transplant clinic functions, coordinate care across multi-disciplinary teams, and provide education on medication adherence, rejection signs, and living donation processes. Deliver cross-coverage for fellow transplant APPs during scheduled time off to ensure continuity of patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority
- Active Board Certification in appropriate nursing specialty
- Three (3) years nursing experience
- Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active Ohio Physician Assistant license with prescriptive authority
- Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
