Job Summary
Conduct on-site clinical assessments and perform age-appropriate history and physicals for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill perioperative patients at client facilities. Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests while monitoring intervention effectiveness in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations. Maintain relationships with facility contacts, educate family members and prospective accounts regarding services, and assist with physician relations as assigned. Complete weekly, monthly, and other reports in a timely manner. Requires current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, ACLS certification, and locally owned vehicle. Local travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant License
- Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant Program
- ACLS
- Current infection control certification
- Strong clinical collaboration with physicians
- Proficient computer skills
- Clean driving record
- Personally owned vehicle required
- Local travel required
- Not listed on the OIG exclusion list
