Job Summary
Conduct inpatient rounding, new consults, and follow-ups with the hospitalist team regarding medical complications of eating disorders and energy imbalance. Manage outpatient care for sexual and reproductive health, medical treatment of eating disorders, and risk-taking behaviors within the Health at Every Size clinic approach. Perform procedures including pelvic exams, Nexplanon insertion and removals, and IUD insertion and removals. Maintain comfort with all gender identities and sexual orientations while providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. Requires Master's or Doctorate degree for Nurse Practitioners, or Bachelor's/Master's for Physician Assistants, with active Wisconsin licensure, prescriptive authority, and relevant board certification.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program
- State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
