Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care to orthopedic patients in an inpatient setting by conducting health histories and physical assessments for those with acute health problems. Deliver high-quality, cost-effective care while maintaining active licensure, prescriptive authority, and board certification in your area of clinical practice. Work four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at UW Health East Madison Hospital or UnityPoint Health-Meriter. No holidays or call; occasional five 8-hour shifts may be required based on staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program
- State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice
- Active PA board certification
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
