Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - High-Risk Surgical Encounter Clinic

Obtain and document health histories, perform physical examinations, and develop comprehensive plans of care for medically complex adults prior to elective surgery. Order, interpret, and collect data using diagnostic procedures while forming differential diagnoses and treating acute and chronic conditions. Prescribe therapeutic interventions, initiate referrals, and facilitate patient transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including registered nurses and support staff, to optimize care for patients undergoing preoperative anesthetic evaluations.
