Job Summary
Provide autonomous clinical care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an occupational medicine setting. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating work-related injuries and acute conditions, conducting medical evaluations and return-to-work exams, performing DOT and pre-employment physicals and IMEs, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, documenting encounters in the EMR, collaborating with therapy staff and employer partners on work restrictions and recovery progress, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, HIPAA, and state regulations. Lead and guide Medical Assistants and therapy staff, contribute to quality improvement and workflow development, and support a Monday–Friday clinic schedule (Van Buren, AR).
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant and active Arkansas state medical license
- DOT NRCME certification or willing to get one
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty
