Job Summary
Provide mobile advanced wound care to patients in their homes or SNFs within the Eureka, CA area. Travel locally to see patients in their homes or facilities. Perform wound care procedures, select, order, and perform tests as needed, document patient diagnoses, and ensure patient satisfaction. Conduct patient education and management, including debridement of wounds and application of topical wound care products. Notate findings and treatment course in patient charts with follow-up notes. Must be licensed as an NP or PA in California, CPR certified, and have a valid driver’s license with auto insurance; strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The role is on-the-road, not remote, with extensive training and 24/7 support provided.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license as an NP or PA
- CPR Certified
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and minimum state required liability auto insurance; local travel is required
