Job Summary
Conduct primary care examinations, treat patients across all age groups, and manage disease prevention, diagnosis, and recovery for Rancho Family Medical Group. Prescribe medications, administer vaccinations, and coordinate necessary tests or specialist referrals. Manage approximately three patients per hour in a 36-hour patient-facing clinic schedule within a 40-hour work week, supplemented by four to five days of work options. Handle in-office telemedicine appointments and navigate the EPIC EHR system. Night call rotations occur 2-3 times annually during non-clinic hours. This role supports the practice's focus on Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Women's Health, and Geriatric Care in Southwest Riverside County.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification
- Active and unrestricted California PA/NP medical license
- Board certification/eligibility
- Active and unrestricted California Medical license
- Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
- Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology
- Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
- In-depth knowledge of legal and best medical guidelines and medicine best practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Respect for patient's confidentiality
- Compassionate and approachable
- Responsible and trustworthy
- EMR: EPIC
- Night call schedule is 2-3 times per year (one full week each time during non-clinic hours; no in-person responsibilities)
- 4 or 5-day work week options
- Schedule: typical schedule is four 10-hour days (9 hours patient facing; 1 hour lunch), and one 4-hour admin day (non-clinic; can be from home)
