Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant position in Amityville, NY to perform H&Ps on CDPAP-registered adult patients with a flexible schedule. Role involves directing Licensed Practical Nurses, clerical assistants, and medical assistants; the H&P is a brief 8-10 minute assessment (adult patients only, pediatric patients not typically seen); typical shifts are Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm. Requires ability to handle full range of motion and exposure to typical clinical environments, with computer usage and potential autoclave sterilization. Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York is required. Preference for at least two years of recent professional nursing experience in a hospital, medical office, or clinical setting.
