Job Summary
Deliver high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic conditions, promote wellness and preventive health, and collaborate with physicians and clinical teams. Responsibilities include performing in-office procedures, prescribing medications, managing diagnostics, and engaging in quality initiatives. Candidates must have a Master's level education in nursing or physician assistant studies, state licensure, board certification, and DEA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN, DNP) or Physician Assistant program (MPAS, MSPA, MHS)
- Active or pending, unencumbered licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Maine
- Board Certification
- Active or pending DEA Certification in the state of Maine
- Active BLS certification
- Maintain continuing education appropriate for scope of practice and licensure
