Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant-Cibolo

Provides primary and episodic care to patients – independently and in collaboration with other medical professionals – following standards and protocols set by the Regional Vice President and/or Supervising Physician. Functions as a member of the clinical team and maintains patient flow and maximizes the delivery of quality care to patients. Emphasize health promotion and/or disease prevention through patient education and coordination of care. Follows regulations and guidelines for writing prescriptions. Performs complete physical exams and assessments, orders tests and procedures, defines differential diagnoses, and prescribes dosages in collaboration with supervising physician. Maintains safety, infection control, and accurate data reporting; builds effective working relationships; utilizes healthcare technology for documentation and reporting.
