Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in outpatient primary care across multiple sites in North Texas. Functions independently to assess patients, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests (lab work, X-rays), perform annual exams, educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyles, and document encounters in the Athena EMR. Collaborate with on-site support and Catalyst teams (including 24/7 care teams and referral coordinators) to coordinate care for 15-25 patients per day.
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas license and certification
- Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program
- Experience as an NP or PA in an outpatient clinic setting
- Competent with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making
