Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Summary
Assists physicians in providing care to patients in the office and serves as a resource for chemotherapy nurses and staff who identify patients needing urgent care; conducts patient assessments, orders/interprets diagnostic labs and radiology, plans/treats, documents history and physicals, and communicates with physicians; reviews pathology, identifies trial eligibility in collaboration with MD/research staff, and maintains continuity of care when physicians are unavailable; interfaces with Medical Records, Front Desk, and Nursing staff regarding patient charts and treatment, and participates in training and orientation of new employees.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with NP program completion OR Physician Assistant Master’s degree with accredited PA program
- RN licensure in Arizona and current registration with State Board of Nursing OR Arizona PA license and NCCPA certification
- NCCPA certification (for PA)
- BS or MSN in Nursing for NP path and AZ licensure
