Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for part-time, 1-2 shifts/week in AFC Urgent Care, Montgomery, AL. 100% outpatient with no nights or on-call. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in urgent care; performing minor procedures (suturing, splinting, incision and drainage); conducting DOT and employment physicals; ordering/interpreting labs, X-rays, and EKGs; counseling on care plans and preventive health; maintaining accurate documentation; collaborating with supervising physicians and team members. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of urgent care/family/emergency experience, active NP/PA license, strong communication, and patient-centered care approach. Required Qualifications
- Active state license required for NP (ANCC or AANP) or PA (NCCPA)
- 2+ years of experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency care

- BLS certification (active or onboarding period)
