Job Summary
Assess and treat pediatric patients with acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor trauma while collaborating with physicians. Educate families on preventive care, medical issues, and prescribed treatments. Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and document all evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, and consultations. Order diagnostic tests and prescribe medications within scope of license. Facilitate record evaluations and implement physician directives. Promote health maintenance through counseling on annual physicals and self-care skills. Requires a Master's degree in nursing and current CA license. Full benefit package and 401K provided. Required Qualifications
- Have a CA State license
- Must enjoy working with Pediatric patients
- A NP degree from an accredited school or University
- Master's degree in nursing
- Must hold current license/registration to practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
