Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics

Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics collaborates with physicians in an office setting; under the supervision of a licensed physician, provides health care to patients including diagnosis and treatment. Conducts medical histories, physical examinations, orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests, develops patient plans of care, prescribes medications, and administers immunizations. Provides patient education on underlying medical conditions and self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailors instructions to individual circumstances, reviews test results, documents exams and progress notes, and prepares referral letters as needed. Ensures HIPAA compliance and performs other duties as assigned by supervising physicians.
