Job Summary
Conduct Level IV NICU coverage, attend high-risk deliveries, and perform procedures including intubations, chest tubes, and ventilator management. Consult with high-risk mothers in labor and deliver, while teaching residents and assisting with NRP instruction. Oversee the NNP team by managing scheduling, conducting performance evaluations, and collaborating on protocol development. Work full-time with rotating shifts including days, nights, and weekends, with no call and protected admin time.
Required Qualifications
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Experienced in Level III or Level IV NICUs
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the State Board of Nursing
- Prescribing privileges through the Arizona State Board of Nursing
- Current NPR Certification
- Current prescribing privileges
- DEA license for controlled substance
